Donation Opportunities

Garden City Food Pantry always welcomes donations of money, food, or time. If you would like to donate your time go to the Volunteer Opportunities page for more information.

Monthly donations are welcome too. Here are some donation suggestions to help the Food Pantry.

Donate Non-Perishable Food Items

​

Host a Pantry Donation Party: Invite friends over and ask them to donate non-perishable food items. 

​

Make a Holiday Donation: Donate to the Garden City Food Pantry in someone else’s name. This is a wonderful way to honor a special person in your life with a gift that keeps giving.

​

Donate your Garden Produce: If you garden think about donating some of your produce. Our clients love it when they receive fresh produce!

​

Think outside the Kitchen: Donate cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and toothpaste/toothbrushes. Go to the donate non-perishable food item for a complete list.

Word of Mouth: Tell everyone you know about the Garden City Food Pantry and make our

needs known.

​

Sponsor a Food Drive: Encourage your school, community group, church, family, friends and neighbors. Call 412-373-0391 to let us know the name of your contact person, phone number, email address and the name of your organization.

Monetary Donations

​

Donations of Money: Remember Garden City Food Pantry when you are making year-end charitable donations. All workers are volunteers. 100% of your contribution is used to purchase food

and supplies.
